Opening Doors for Women Since 1858

The mission of the LCU Fund for Women’s Education is to clear the path for low-income women to complete college by helping them pay their rent.

The LCU Fund partners with select New York City colleges and universities to provide housing grants to final-year undergraduate and graduate scholars preparing for careers in education, health services, public administration, social work, and the visual and performing arts—vital fields that help build stronger, healthier, and more equitable communities.
